Idea

This set-top box combines a low-profile circular body with a detachable metal stand, transforming a functional device into an interior object that blends naturally into the home.

By allowing the exterior to be refreshed without replacing the main body, the design encourages longer use, bringing material recycling and personal expression together in a more sustainable approach to everyday electronics.

Form

This adaptability extends to the material palette, with recycled plastics and recycled textile fibers proposed for the replaceable covers. Wood-inspired tones, woven textures, terrazzo-like patterns, and colorful graphics explore the aesthetic potential of recycled materials while offering varied ways to personalize the product.

Function

Freestanding and wall-mounted configurations accommodate different spaces, while interchangeable top covers allow the product to reflect personal taste and evolving interiors.
